Hopkins - fake plastic tree?
"he looks like the real thing"

didn't see it coming that's for sure.

now we will be looking for it every episode
I've been saying since the beginning that I think Ford himself is a host. The top dog host and the machines are going to rise. Unless, the man in black (who I still think is Peter Martin from the original Westworld, or, Perhaps the man in black is a host himself, looking for the maze, just some kind of cLog in the wheel. Not sure what role William is playing here. Whose side would he be on? Host? Human? At the moment, given his relationship with Delores, I'm saying Host.)

Favorite moment - What door?

That was excellent, given what had been said just a minute or so before.
Tbh I wasn't expecting to like this at all, being a fan of the film and so on, but it's been great, very compelling right from the first scene and great performances from a strong cast.

I really liked the nod to Yul Brynner's Gunslinger in ep.6(?), where Bernard was down on a deep basement level. And did I think he was a robot? Not exactly, but I thought either him or Theresa would turn out to be one.

I must admit liking it. It is not really like the movie with Yul Brynner. They have taken the concept and built in levels in it. I think it is well done and worth following. But i also see it as a concept that must lead to a conclusion. Meaning it cant go on for many seasons without losing its point. But so far i like it. Have seen 5 episodes and watching out for more.
What do you think? I have read that it is a series viewers either love or hate. Exactly why i don't really understand.

I've seen 5 episodes now. I like it. It is complicated but not too complicated. They have taken the premise of the movie but not the exact action, instead they have built in more layers into the action than the movie had. That is good but i think it is a premise that demands a conclusion. What i mean by that is the concept is not one which can last for many seasons. Then it would get boring i think. I hope the writer have this in mind and keep it to 1-3 seasons at the most. But so far i'm positive. Like the plottwists and the expanded world and also the internal intrigues.

I like it very much and I did see the original way back when - looking forward to tonight's episode and I'm starting to like some of the characters as well.
