I'm not talking about films that are so bad they're good or have cult followings. I'm talking about films that basically have no redeeming quality whatsoever, the kind of films that score in the single digits on Rotten Tomatoes. Here are some films I've seen or heard about that may qualify.

Son of the Mask
Inchon!
Alone in the Dark
Baby Geniuses
North
Movie 43
Sex Lives of the Potato Men
Fat Slags
Gigli
Battlefield Earth
Parting Shots
Highlander 2: The Quickening
Bio-Dome
For Keeps? -
The movie that more or less killed Molly Ringwald's credibility as a leading actress in a Hollywood production. Even Ringwald herself has refused to speak of it. Oh yeah, it's that bad. The Stand was okay. The Pick-Up Artist was okay. This one, she was personally ashamed of.

Eraser. I liked Schwartzenegger action movies, but early on when they talk about aluminum bullets traveling at nearly the speed of light....

Waste of film, sorry.

A lot of films, like Ishtar, Battlefield Earth, Inchon, just come with such critical baggage that I don't even start to watch them.

Oh, Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw. Although I can't vouch how bad it really was, because I gave up halfway through. Not even Lynda Carter's bare breasts could save that atrocity. If she'd shown up later full frontal, it wouldn't have been worth staying to catch it. Just saying that as a guy, y'know.

The other night we rented "the Search for One-Eyed Jimmy". I'm a HUGE Steve Buscemi fan but had to turn this off about 40 minutes in. I actually felt embarrassed for the cast (which included a few other good actors) and wished I'd never seen it.

I am a huge Steve Buscemi fan, but don't necessarily seek out his movies. If he shows up in something I'm watching, it's like a Where's Waldo moment for me. Thanks for the heads up on this one.

Unfortunately, I sought out movies he starred in. It was cringe-worthy.
