wild blackberries are the best. Was too hot and dry here this year. I used to get enough for pies , fresh eating and freezing. Enjoy!
Thanks! Hey, I didn't know they could be frozen. Is there a special way to do it? Do you just toss 'em in a Ziploc bag and freeze them? One of the things I miss from living in Florida was our grapefruit tree. Do you grow anything else?

Doc Creed - I usually put them on a cookie sheet in a single layer and freeze in freezer/ once frozen you can put them into zip bags and keep in freezer. I have just put them in a zip bags, however, they tend to clump into a solid mass. Pre freezing allows for individual berries.
West central Fl and near a cold pocket in winter. Lost most of my tangerine trees during the year of the hard freeze. Only one came back. Neighbor had the grapefruits trees so we traded. Not growing much now- too hot and coons. Have to plant veggies in a dog run with a chain link roof! Rural life!!
