Spaghetti with meat sauce (extra fresh crimini mushrooms in the sauce) and best of all a nice hot cup of tea to revive my spirits - my shoulder and elbow ached all day long at work, even with taking pain killers.
Good comfort food, isn't it?

Grandma texted me that she was beat up and headed home. When she came in and collapsed on the chair, I gave her a little mango juice and Myers's rum mix. I called it a "tonic."

Pasta is a comfort food for her. Italian sausage, spiced, with fresh garlic, three different bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, fresh garlic, the marinara off the shelf, and various spices.

Just for chuckles, I added pepper to the water for boiling the pasta.

Served up with a nice kalamata olive loaf and a petite sirah from a label I can't remember but was recommended by the guy at the store. I can come back with it.

It was all quite tasty, and the impulse on the pasta was right - we got a nice peppery taste with the pasta.

She's resting and zoning in to the TV now while I catch up on work and SKMB.
