Schwarma! I have no idea what I'm doing. The kids have been interested in trying it ever since The Avengers (don't tell ME subtle suggestion doesn't work--lol), so when The Man saw schwarma seasoning at the store he got giddy as a schoolgirl :) I'd planned on having chicken something today anyway, so I agreed to try. Searching for a recipe now.

Hi!

I had to look up schwarma. Sounds delish!

Is it something like this?

(Can I have some avocado slices with mine?)

Oh now that sounds PERFECT! Might have a change in plans... that or maybe some sausage balls!

Hey, you!

What are sausage balls? Recipe please!

(BTW king family fan, I went out and picked up some brats! I will roll one of those suckers up in a flour tortilla and drown it in my goodie roonie, famous salsa and throw a munch. Yay!)

I haven't found a good one yet (but am making one tonight) - I have tried them with milk/water, tonight, it's just Biscquick, Shredded Cheddar and Sausage... we'll see!

Hey Siggy - I know how much you love tortillas. I was wondering if there are any store-bought brands you would recommend for flour tortillas.
Much love to you!

Tonight was stuffed burger patties - I used an egg, oregano, bit of chili sauce and Frank's Red Hot. Finely chopped a medium onion to put in the mix along with garlic (just the powder).

I have this special thing I bought from Avon you use to make stuffed burgers. I used lean ground beef and stuffed them with shredded Mexican cheese.

I found this picture on line and somebody wants to give theirs away! (another one is on sale on EBay for US 9.99)

Hi, honey!

No, I'm sorry. All the store-bought tortillas I have checked are made with lard. You're a vegetarian, correct? It's not an option for you?

(I had a professor who LOVED Mexican sweet bread. She would eat it by the pound if she had her druthers. Come to find out, ALL Mexican sweet breads are made with lard. Or fried in lard. She stopped eating them but it was a bummer.)

Love coming back at you! :love_heart:

I always read the labels so I don't accidentally get any with lard. I think I've purchased about every brand I've ever seen at the grocery store, but have never been overly impressed with any of them.
