I think we all get in a rut. I try to do something different every month. I want to do shepherds pie soon. I haven't done that in a while.
I made shepherds pie earlier this week. We hadn't had it for a while because beef has been so expensive.
Everything has gotten expensive! Fruit is outrageous!
I love making pizza!! Loading it up with tons of toppings!
I am doing pork ribs in the oven with bbq sauce. This will be accompanied with potatoes cream with sour creme , fried bacon , shredded cheese and chives. Sauteed onions smothered in bbq sauce on the side.

I want to try ribs in my air fryer. We have done all kinds of potatos in it, and the taste is so fantastic.
Beef and Broccoli Stir fry (with mushrooms and onions too) over egg noodles
For dinner tonight? Tall Guy is out of town, so I'm on my own. It doesn't make much sense to cook for myself when I can only eat small portions.

I had a wonderful salad today for lunch.
It was a mesclun salad, it had cranberrys and walnuts and blue cheese.

One egg over medium, two (TWO!!!) slices of bacon, home fries with ranchera sauce and a flour tortilla. Yum!
AnnaMarie I love pinto beans cooked with salt pork. (I don't eat the salt pork. I just love the flavor it adds. You should try a big bowl with either flour tortillas or jalapeno corn bread.)

I am in the process of marinating chicken pieces in dry red wine for coq au vin tomorrow evening. I will serve this with piped duchess potatoes, broc with a cheddar cheese sauce, Cauliflower mashed in cream and butter. I am expecting guests from up the Fort.
I had a chicken chop salad and tomato bisque soup.
We had leftover pork chops tonight, but since Grandma did a great job originally, they were quite tasty. Also steamed broccoli, and we split a baked sweet potato with melted butter. Tonight was pretty simple.
It's no cook Friday. 1 had Subway, 2 had Chic-Fil-A. I had tunafish and ritz. I think I'm going to staro's for dinner!
