Good Friday afternoon!

What are you looking forward to this summer?

I'd like to sit out on the back porch early morning and late evening.

Having the little ones in the wading pool or running through the water sprinkler

I want a cherry raspa.

Heart of the South
Tomatoes, watermelon, fire works and the Redbirds games.
Sundresses and sandals every day.
No school for the kids: no breakfast making, lunch packing, hurry up and get in the car mornings. I can slip out quietly to work while they sleep until noon.
Some beach time.
Drive in movies
Summer movies at the Orpheum

Not looking forward to cutting grass though.

I'm not a big fan of the heat, but I don't mind early summer. A late Saturday evening, almost dark but not quite, sitting on my back patio in my favorite old chair, the grill slowly cooling off from the burgers I made earlier. Some Alice in Chains coming thru the open window from my sound system onto the patio, maybe a Dos Equis or three in a bowl of ice on the picnic table beside me. And to top it off, a group of SKMB members sitting around to shoot the breeze with. That would be a good summer night I think. Everyone have a good Memorial Day weekend, you all are the bees knees, don't forget that.

Well like 'ghost19' I am not a fan of the heat; at least not the extreme heat we get here. I live about a 5
minute walk from Okanagan Lake and in that area is an area of beach not many know about so I often go down there
to take pictures and cool off. I spend a lot of time taking pictures in the area where I live. Go out on my friend's boat
every chance I get too.Like the outdoor markets they have here and like going to them. And of course going to all
the used book stores and thrift shops looking for books.

In the end of july my brother comes here together with his wife. Stays three weeks!!!! Looking forward to spending some time with both of them (and hopefully the weather improves, gets warmer and sunnier)
