I somehow got almost a $200 credit today from BN based on a class action lawsuit against Apple. Weird. I thought only lawyers benefited from those settlements but that sets me loose for some ebook recommendations.
CONGRATULATIONS, Richard!!! My sister got $44.63 and is overjoyed. Says she thought she got some kind of settlement last year too!! Payout is based on how many books a Nook customer bought and also if they were best sellers!

How do you do that??? I would keep expecting the fireman to pop up in Texas to save people lol
A story is a story is a story (not Gertrude Stein). Although with these two stories there is one character with same name, this does throw me when I start to read an increment. This is a first happening for me.

A Certain Age is simply marvelous. The dialogue is sharp, the storyline involving, and the characters crisply drawn. I've missed that--so many authors lately have real problems creating district characters without making them a ball of quirks meant to distinguish them from one another. It's much more difficult to create distinct voices. Post- WW I loveliness. Williams has evoked an era that has been visited often, but not nearly as well. Highly recommended!
