Finished Abandon. Really Liked it. Think he caught the flavour of the Rockies good too.

He threw me a curve ball with this one because
there were no sci-fi or supernatural elements. I thought early on that's where it was going but it turned out to be a straight forward mystery (kind of a historical mystery). All of the other books of his that I've read had a sci-fi angle to them. He faked us out early. ;-D I liked it and I think I want to go back (someday) and re-read the 1893 part by itself.

It took a re-read of FAB8 for me to really like it. Lisey's Story is one of my favs.
Really? I have 15 or so more SK books left of mine to read before I start re-reading and by that time I will have gotten a few more. I want to own all of them and read all of them. I have always wanted to read Lisey's Story. I'm really hoping it'll be a good one. I will keep you posted on it

Well, some of us have been reading SK since he started writing and that's why we can afford to reread. I mostly do it in between his new releases.

Yea I started about a year to two years ago. I'm still in school so it can be difficult for me to read a lot at once and honestly I used to have a horrible taste in my mouth when I tried to read. it wasn't until I began reading for pleasure that I really started to read a lot

I was one of those nerds in school that loved reading from pretty much 1st grade on. That said, I am glad you finally realized the wonders of reading for pleasure and I encourage you to keep on reading! Many of us Constant Readers here who have read SK for years and years envy you "newbies" who have whole new worlds in the SK universe to discover. Enjoy!

David baldacci, just finished the camel club which is the 1st book in a series of 5. I'm half way done with book 2, the collectors. I'm totally hooked and I'm sure I will have the other 3 read by end of month. The characters are his best work.
On book 5, Hells Corner. Great series. Love the characters. Isabelle probably my favorite. A total crook but on the good side so we tend to forget she is a criminal.

I found it strange at first (my mind kept wandering) but once I finally got into it and it caught my attention I enjoyed it very much

Going through boxes of books (still moving them) and found a Far Side collection. Uncle Stevie wrote the Forward for it. Read through it and saw a lot of cartoons I'd forgotten about that cracked me up. This one had me giggling:
