My favorites of the 60s Bee Gees were To Love Somebody and Words. New York Mining Disaster was good, too.

My favorite Bee Gee is the forth one, Samantha Sang. :) In my passionate youth I had 'Emotion' on cassette! That's some good breakup music.

Weird! I just saw this on my fb. I'm about to check Comcast 4 this thing.

I just called one of my girls to tell her a tribute to the BeeGees waa on channel 5. She let me know ahe had no clue who they were. Who don't know the BeeGees. I love them

No, I didn't know that.
Years ago, I had a bio that was written by them--one of the best celebrity bios that I've ever read, because it was just stuffed full of stories and family pictures, and they weren't afraid to take the piss from themselves. Anyway, in that Barry Gibb said that he wrote that song for Otis Redding, but Redding died before he could deliver it. It's certainly Redding's style!

I'm watching BBC Earth - it's a story about European starlings and also rabbits - how both were introduced and basically became invasive species.

Today I work 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on a new route called "C Shift" - a girl named Surinder will be training me, then tomorrow I will do the same shift on my own.

Wow - time passes so quickly here on the SKMB - I wish I had more time to post on here!

I just got done with a limited series on HBONow called The Night Of. The show is 8 episodes long and in the first episode we see a crime and a 23 year old male is arrested for that crime. Chances are, he didn't do it but there is a mountain of evidence against him. The show isn't so much about the mystery of the crime as it is about the judicial system. The show gives the viewers a glimpse at this crime from all the different perspectives and shows all of the different people the crime affects as the case slowly winds it's way through the system. This is not a show that is preaching about injustice but instead shows how one crime not only affects the accused but numerous others. This is an amazing show with great performances from John Turturro and Riz Ahmed.

It is based on a British show called Criminal Justice. I see that Criminal Justice is on Hulu, so I'm going to want to check that out too.

Just finished Master of None (2 seasons) on Netflix. I loved it. Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation) wrote, directed and starred in this show based on his own life as a single guy in NYC. It's funny, but also, each episode gives a great perspective of culture and society. Highly recommend.

This morning someone posted the episode of Naked and Afraid that was filmed in Trinidad (where I live), so I decided to skim through it. The full ep can be found at the link below.

I don't understand this show. So you have two people who get naked and go into the bush for three weeks and then sit around moping and talking about their feelings? People actually watch this? Alrighty then. :ohnoes:

Oh and for the record, there is a lot more to Trinidad than just some scary forest with naked people crawling around it (I personally don't go into the forest cause, y'know, snakes...) =D
