There doesn't seem to be clarity about whether Outcast gets a third season. I liked the first two seasons a lot, but the last episode of season 2 seemed quite forced towards a finale; basically from when Kyle's dad comes into the picture I felt it went downhill. Suddenly there is this whole group of people in the finale who are gonna sacrifice themselves. Are these all people with Kyle's powers - where did they suddenly come from?
On the whole I love the atmosphere: it's dark, has a good soundtrack, very good acting (I especially like Wrenn Schmidt a lot).
At first I didn't really get the concept: the idea of possession as an epidemic I didn't quit grasp, because usually exorcism movies are about individual cases. Also, when the second season started, I had to watch the first season again - because the first season doesn't have such a clear overall storyline. Also I watched it one episode a week, but now I rather record whole series first and watch them in one go as much as possible.

I wonder when they're gonna announce if it will continue or not.

I've been watching a lot of "Great British Baking Show," and am a little obsessed now with trying to make puff pastry from scratch. I haven't tried yet, but I'm gearing up.
Love that show! Saw a few episodes on PBS last year.

WOW - puff pastry from scratch??! I recently messed up a batch of brownies from a box. I have mad, crazy baking skills, huh? ;;D

Yeah, I retired from teaching! I kind of hid it in the eclipse thread last week. I had taught 30 years, and there were many circumstances which made me decide that now was the time. I really miss the kids, but I am happy and pretty much stress-free. I still feel young, so I'm looking forward to what life holds. : )

Good for you! danie

I have to wait four more years to get my "magic 80" at the hospital - I hope I can hold out that long!
