Yes , It was fun watching Wylie E. Coyote's futile quest to outwit and catch the Road Runner . The warner bother cartoons of that era were fun to watch and they actually had good comic writing. Those cartons were made with adults in mind.
Yes those were among Max Fle Best Cartoons, so were the early Popeye Cartoons .
Max Fleischer also did a never animated Superman Shorts are outstanding in terms of both animation and story telling.
The Simpsons. Classic and timeless... well, except for some gags.
My favorite Simpson episode was The Springfield Files In which Mulder and Scully showed up. It had Leonard Nimoy, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson all lending their voices. This still the best send up of the X Files I've ever seen !
And lets not forget all the various incarnations of Treehouse of Horror.
Can't forget Foghorn Leghorn. Not sure why a chicken randomly beating the hell out of a dog with a fence post was so damn funny when I was a kid....but it still is...lol I think it's Foghorn's voice more than anything.

Foghorn Leghorn was my Grandfather's favorite. We Grandkids put a small stuffed Foghorn in his casket when he died.

Yes Foghorn Leghorn , he had an opinion about everything and most the time , he was wrong. And his scheming and his verbosity got him into constant trouble .
And he was voiced by the Great Mel Blanc , man of a thousand voices.Warner Brothers did alot of really great cartoons
Definitely. His singing voice is just too damn funny, such a caricature voice. Still hilarious.It was fun watching the Dog get the better of him on more then a few occasions.
And let's not forget Michigan J Frog. who would only sing for the man who found him but no one else.
Old school Scooby Doo! It was/is funny.And what kid didn't like solving a mystery! Inalso have a weird affinity for The Smurfs but have no good reason why.
