In the tradition of such hits as "I am angry today because", "What are you listening to?", "How's the weather?" and even the "Jealousy" threads, I introduce the all new "What are your plans this week?" thread.

Come and talk about what you've got going this week, how your schedule looks, anything exciting happening, a goal you're eyeing or maybe even something tough you have to face.

Whatever it is, if it's going to happen this week, then lay it out here and let's wax intellectual on it!

I will go first...

I have to get a white paper finished I am working on, and submit the final draft. I also have 10 or 15 other smaller projects ending this week. I have to spend at least an hour each evening this week (and all of next weekend) doing work on my Halloween Scare House. I am cooking dinner twice this week (fish, asparagus and sweet tater mash tonight, pork cops, cauliflower puree and fresh green beans tomorrow). I also have my son's marching performance at the football game Friday night. Saturday night I get to go see one of my favorite bands The New Mastersounds at a local venue in St. Petersburg called Jannus Live. Sunday evening is premiere of The Walking Dead.. YAY!!!!!!

That's my week this week. :)

Hoss - you cook? I always tell my girls, if they MUST get married, marry a man who cooks. Dreamy McSteamy!

Pork cops are my favorite! Just don't ask nottie to cook them. ;-D

Best of luck to you 80sFan!

This week - pumpkin carving Thu, the gym Mon/Wed/Fri, cooking dinner every.single.night. I'm going to be super productive at work. Boss will be busy Tue & Wed, and out of town Thu & Fri. I can get caught up. It's too much excitement for you, right? I will probably have to go to the grocery store more than once.

Yes good luck with the interview! What kind of job, may I ask? Just tell me it's none of my business if it's none of my business. :)

Thanks Danie!
It's not "none of your business" lol...I'm just afraid to jinx it by saying too much...so I will give details as soon as I find out either way :)
I will have an answer by Thurs or Fri.

And thanks too Neesy!

I'm on vacation this week and next, so I plan on walking quite a bit, reading even more, and maybe catching The Magnificent Seven later this week.

I've also started a new writing project called The 31st of September. Taking a break from my novel Dreamer, about 100K words into that.

Good luck, 80sFan !!

Today my husband has his consult with the orthopedic surgeon about his shoulder. He will find out what his MRI showed and find out her plan.

Thursday I have parent teacher conferences for the kiddos. They are out of school Thurs and Friday.

Rest of the week is normal stuff, babysitting, cleaning, cooking, normal family life stuff. And staying motivated to keep up with the treadmill. Today is day 18, starting to notice some improvements. :applause:

Painting

I have the house to myself for a few days and am doing interior painting including the ceilings. I started Saturday and worked all day Saturday and Sunday on it and now am working evenings during the week. I have one more weekend alone so I'm hoping to be able to finish by Sunday. The ceilings are the worst part because I have textured ceilings and am having to paint with a roller since my house is full of stuff. Preferably, I would paint all the ceilings first but since the house is full of stuff, I have to do sections so I have somewhere to move the stuff. ;-D Now that I have a couple of complete rooms done, it will go faster because I can move stuff in there and not have to move it again until I'm done. The hardest part of painting is all the moving, covering and prep work. The painting is the easy part.
