Well this week is going to be a bit of limbo for me. I got all the projects completed that I could last week. 4 of them got delayed indefinitely. I may have to pick up the reins myself and complete them if I can get time. The ones that did get completed now have to be put through my QA/QC processes. Most of them are automated, but can take some time to run. The good thing is that is when I have time to hang here on the board! :)

I've got 2 techs out on vacation this week too, so nothing will get done production wise. Oh well, I have lots of small things I've put off in favor of more pressing matters.

On the Halloween Scare House front, I completed all the fake dead bodies this weekend. They all look similar to this:

I also finished the lab sample jars I need to get done. We also finished all the advertising stuff and tested all the smoke machines. I am using the tub portion of my shop vac to create a ground fogger. It has a hose input hole at the top and a drain hole at the bottom. I've rigged the vacuum hose to be inside the tub and attached to the two holes at each end. Then the bucket is filled with ice. I have a hose going from the smoke machine with low lying fog juice into the internal hose, then out through another at the bottom, which goes out to a diffusing attachment at the end to make the fog fan out along the ground. I tested it and it worked great. I do have some leaks to seal, but the test run was a success. We also got some dry ice to run time tests on the bubbling fog experiments in the lab. My son is running all the logistics and production behind the scenes. So far so good! We have 20 latex wounds, a half eaten corpse, trim the large branches we got from a neighbor's tree trimming into a scary tree and a gallon of chunky, semi congealed blood to complete this week. We start the set construction Friday afternoon. We are also staging a wrecked car this year and I have to create a set of props for that.
I want video!

That looks very cool sir. I'll take your word it's a "fake" dead body, that's just what Skynet would want us to believe.....:) Have a good week.

Should be amazing! Be sure to post some pics if you have time to take any!

I want video!
Well I am busy performing, so I am not in control, but my son is supposed to take care of it.

To tide you over, how about this picture of me at 14 months old (yes this is really lil' Hoss)...

Just go out on US 19- should be plenty of pickings!

Plans??????????????????? Things just seem to happen to me without me planning them. Even things like washing and cleaning is not something i plan. I just look around myself someday and sigh i guess i must do it now. Work is i must find a good finish to an article and then find some good illustrative pics to it. I plan to start This House Is Haunted soon....... Thats the only plan i have.

I don't think I will bring a book. Serious stuff, and I will take it if they give it to me.
I am also familiar with the word 'flesh.'

Thursday for me too. If chosen, 18 weeks of it.
The person who spoke to me about court (the clerk who gave the details) recommended I bring a book for the jury selection part - she said you spend long periods just waiting

Keep your fingers crossed for me! (I actually would like to be chosen for jury duty)

"I am also familiar with the word 'flesh.'
- re your comment - I only included the spoiler about the word flesh as I found it interesting how the definition of the words "flesh colored" has changed over the years

Good luck with your day in court, too! =D:encouragement:

I plan to NOT shoot myself with the Nailgun this week. So far so good. Keeping my fingers off the trigger when not in use, watching how I aim it, etc. Had another ricochet nail bounce off a steel plate yesterday--bounced off that, hit my thumbnail, bounced off thumb and hit my lower lip. Double ouch (!!), but no penetration, no blood. I expelled some colorful profanity, though, and growled about needing an 'effing' cigarette. Co-workers lowered their heads and kept quiet--they know not to wisecrack when I'm in pain, by God. You don't wanna sass an angry man while he's holding a nail gun. Heh heh.
