The older I get, I find different ways to appreciate The Boss's music. Of all the songs about fathers and sons, this is the best.

I just got around to buying the CD HitnRun Part 2 by Prince. So far I'm liking it- it harkens back to the 'old school' days of Purple Rain and Under A Cherry Moon (he even samples his hit Kiss!), lots of horns going on. Kind of stripped down but in a good way. 'Old school' and yet new and fresh.
I'm listening to this (well this isn't right now per se, it's just the most recent one) by way of practicing it off of a Powertab print-out:
Not saying I'm great at playing it, but sometimes I go through it better than others ... I haven't been using a metronome, so that's a problem right there. Powertab has a metronome in it, but it doesn't work for some reason on my computer's administrator log-in, yet works just fine on the guest log-in ...
