I have seen lists of books that supposedly scare Stephen King and other lists of books that he recommends ... and he even endorses books as we all know. We all reread his books ... but are there any books out there that Stephen King found so good that he reread them ??

Here is a list of books Stephen King recommends for writers but I believe non-writers may enjoy some of the picks as they are not

Recently, I saw a Stephen King blurb on a horror book where he said it scared the hell out of him or something along those lines...can I remember which book he wrote this about? Of course not! :hammer:

Hi .. I have that list and I read the book "Ghosts in your head" .. and it didn't really scare me .. it was creepy tho .. and I feel that the list was one that he was just promoting books .... I was thinking if he had read a book more than one time .. he would think its a good scary book .. but I don't know if there is a list of books that he has read more than once ... Maybe there is not a list because he is too busy writing ... *smile* ..

be he doesn't reread anything, unless it's a storybook of some kind to his grandchildren. My personal thought is, so many books, so little time. He is going to move on to the next thing that thrills him.

MsMod will know, but I am almost(?) certain I saw a previous post regarding SK and re reads. . It was basically what your personal thought stated.

I don't know if he even does reread books. There might be an interview out there in which he mentions this, but I don't recall it off the top of my head.

I remember something not long ago where he said he'd re-read Edgar Sawtelle, but that's the only one in years. Of course, I can't remember where I read that tidbit--lol. My brain is a squirrel storing nuts, but I rarely remember where I found them, unfortunately.
