I remember seeing this. I think Lynn Redgrave was getting on Stephen's nerves, lol. She kept complaining about her faulty buzzer and making it very difficult for her challengers to think.
I wouldn't be surprised if King was playing for his own charity The Heritage Foundation. Was it founded before 1995? I don't know.
That's my guess, anyway.

I haven't heard of the Heritage Foundation, is this something different to The Haven Foundation?

B&N operates the book store at my daughter's college. She just informed me she won the B&N college sweepstakes grand prize from a purchase of pens she made back in March. A paid vacation for 2 to Maui, HI. B&N emailed her and called her. Really nice package with all kinds of things planned every day. I checked it all out and it’s completely legit. We’re making the call this afternoon, and the only concern is the thousands she'll have to pay in federal taxes based on its value. Alas, it’s a behemoth book store entity... why couldn’t the grand prize be something really good, like dinner with Stephen King? ;)

Wow! She's pretty lucky - good for her - who is she taking to Hawaii?

Hope Mom has a great time!

No, my bad. Thank you, that was what I meant. :D

There is a Heritage Foundation but I can most assuredly say King wasn't playing for this "conservative think tank", lol.

The haven foundation was after his car accendent, in 1999, so I am assuming it's the Tabatha and Stephen king foundation? Thier is a part 1 and part 3 and final jeopardy, but I can not play part one for some stupid reason

I was watching Jeopardy, KIng was bhetter at bibles , Duchovny better at tv. Duchovny one on points. because the last thing don't count. Double or nothing. wE HAD JEoPARDY on television here too.

Actually on final jeopardy, guess who got the answer right and bet everything?

His charity ended up with over 11000 (11400) as he was the winner, but the other two got 10000 each as they were both playing for charities as well.
