Thanks guys. I start on Saturday.

You guys are being our wind breaker but the wind has still been quite strong across the water here in Liverpool, although it's a very warm wind. Everyone's being bombarded with crisp autumn leaves. Stay safe.

Worst it's been all day here in Drogheda at the minute but, luckily, no damage so far compared to other parts of the country. In fairness I haven't left the house since this morning so there could be damage that I'm unaware of.

Aw, this makes me miss my silly 8th-grade students! Enjoy, do1!
We had fun! The kids sat in the "middle school" section and I sat with some friends at the 50 yard line. It was misting (not rain, but a literal mist) most of the game, but our team won and it was homecoming, so it was tolerable. I'm sure you do miss it, but hope you are enjoying your freedom as well! =D

I redid all the cleaning my family spent the weekend undoing. ;)

Neverending laundry is going too.

Think I'm good for today. Looking forward to lunch and some reading this afternoon while Sage is napping. Had both kiddos til just a few minutes ago, RJ's mama picked him up, so it's just us girls until the older kids get home from school!
.....cleaning????......with 7 extra people in the house right now, it's the human equivalent of a landfill.......:hammer:

The new SwiftDog chariot is due to arrive at the dealership tomorrow morning. Will be picking it up after work provided there are no delays in registering and prepping it for delivery. Alas, the bitchin’ Camaro will be going to a new owner. Hopefully, they will treat her as well as I have. She’s a runner and a stunner even at 5 years old.

Same as yesterday. Got up early, did some chores, wrote a bit, waiting for a fresh coffee pot and that`s about it so far.
At least I`m not coughing up a storm this morning, which is refreshing after weeks of getting up and spending the first 5 minutes coughing my lungs out.
Hopefully it`s a turn for the better.
No working out today, my body needs rest, so it will be a movie/book day with work mixed in starting in a few hours...

Get them all to pitch in and help! [Good luck with that, eh?]

It was an out day. Not to be confused with an in day. Went to pay Property tax...not successful. Got oil changed...successful.
Hi Tilly - property tax can wait for another day - thanks for reminding me - I need my oil changed too :)

Spent Monday resting and catching up after being gone since Wednesday for my niece's wedding.
Welcome back!

Today I watched Firestarter on AMC - made a big batch of scrambled eggs to eat with an onion bun :bad_smelly:

Thinking about baking something - these cooler days are good for things like that - I have some butter and flour and I even bought some rice flour so Scottish shortbread is sounding like a definite possibility :m_pan:

I like it when I see bitchin' used. It's totally underrated.

I read the first fifty pages of Carrie last night. I volunteer at my local Queensland Country Women's Associations where we do home stops to elderley people and have in-house meals for groups. We also have bingo nights.
Good for you! Have you ever asked or thought about reading aloud to some of the clients?
