I rarely go for anything stronger than beer, Neesy. That's bad enough! LOL
Half a cucumber and a bottle of Sprite....... That'll cure the hangoverWoke up with a banging headache - alcohol induced so brought it on myself.
Having watched West Ham Utd. getting beaten last night was enough to drive me to drink! LOL
At the moment I'm having the 'cure' or 'hair of the dog' as some would call it and waiting on a horse to win at Keeneland to win a nice bet.

Thanks, I started yesterday (well, it was an induction so nice and low key), they seem nice and friendly but more importantly, understanding of people feeling like a fish out of water. They're trying to make it easy for new starters to find their feet in the company. Good luck with yours.Congratulations! I just got a lead on a new job to replace one of my jobs that was seasonal. I hope it is a great job where you are treated well and feel appreciated. The fact that they called you back so fast to offer the job is a great sign!
Today I'm just sheltering from the rain and cold - storm Bryan has brought strong winds and heavy rain yesterday, it's eased up now but it's still cold and miserable out there. Going to watch the f1 grand prix later.
Was talking to my god-daughter today. Her birthday is on Friday but I can't make it, so I have to make up for it. She wants to get a dog. I told her instead of buying one, how about she adopts one instead? I'll pay whatever fees, etc. as long as she keeps her grades up (cause I'm responsible like that). The deal is I get to have a say on naming the mutt. So we have a little back-and-forth with ideas for the name, and finally settle on Devil. Her parents are very devout in their faith. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when she brings her little Devil home. 
I went to church this morning. I'm starting yoga on Tuesday and my book club meets next month.

Slept in late, made blueberry pancakes for brunch and now I have to get ready to go to work, to work the 2:30 to 10:00 p.m. shift.

Broke down and finally bought a snowblower for SwiftMom’s on Saturday. I’m getting too old to be shoveling that back breaking (literally) driveway by hand 
Did some cleaning around SwiftMom’s. Power washed her house and porches too.
Still haven’t gotten my new car
Dealership is extremely incompetent. Never sent the paperwork to my insurance agent. Did all the financial paperwork on Saturday and had them give me the overview of the vehicle. Will be picking it up on Monday or heads will roll!
Pats game is on in a half hour. Hopefully the defense shows up.

Oh yeah, went to see The Toadies and Local H on Friday. Good show. Both bands did Tom Petty tributes. Local H did a punked out version but of I Need To Know. The Toadies did an excellent version of Breakdown.
