Are you talking about not being able to see up close (presbyopia)? - that usually happens after age 45 - why so many older people have reading glasses.

I know that's not really you in the avatar pic, but you strike me as someone who is in her 30s - so maybe find out from your doctor if it could be something else. Don't want to scare you or anything, but it could be something like a tumour in or on your brain. This could be corrected with neurosurgery.

Sorry - think I'm having a flashback to my medical transcription days! Good luck with the vision test :encouragement:

I'm not telling ANYONE how old I am EVER (though I haven't hit 45 yet).

Bad vision runs in my family. It's sort of shocking I've made it this far without glasses though the change did come on fairly suddenly so it does have me concerned. I've had blurred vision during migraines for years but a couple of weeks ago, it just stopped returning to normal. I lost TWO friends to brain cancer this year so that is always on my mind. I'm starting with the vision test and will go from there. I'll definitely pursue other avenues if anything looks funny, reading glasses don't do the trick, and/or it continues to progress.

Happened at 40 for me. Never wore glasses before that. When my arms got too short went to reading glasses. Five years later vision started blurring and went with bifocals. Optometrist told me the scientific term for my condition was 'Old Age Vision." Everyone's a comedian. Still can't ever bring myself to sticking those contact lens things in my eyes.

Karen got the call today about Kaden's brace.
They have to go to Wilmington to the hospital there to get him fitted.
Best of luck with the brace!

I must have missed it somewhere along the line--maybe when I was on the book tour--but what was the outcome with your vision? Was it a temporary thing that resolved itself or were the doctors able to find a treatment?

Sounds like a winner. Enjoy!!

Oh yes, i will, thank you.:)

I have been there 2013 and 2015 and it was great.
So many freaked out People and a really well arranged Event.
They have a nice Guestlist every Year, tho Who is Who from Star Trek to Stargate and many more.

It´s great to Listen to their Storys and they give away Private Details.
It`s a really relaxed Atmosphere
