Many folks are going with an alternate plan and hitting themselves in the face with a hammer instead... :)
It's like a car accident and I'm a rubber-necker. I can't help it...I have to see what got damaged. To balance it out I'll watch a stupid comedy or read an Archie comic.:biggrin2: (When I say 'stupid comedy' I mean the ones that are very clever in their stupidity, I'm a big fan of that stuff).

I went to work again today. I will be watching the Trump vs. Clinton debates this evening.
Wouldn't you rather watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"?

Yea, I'm just so inundated with the campaign that I can't muster up the energy to say "none taken".(and by that I mean I'm a big fan of that kind of stuff too ;)

May happen - is it on? I can't watch anything right now. The debates are on in one room, Nickelodeon in the other!

Yes, it's the 50th anniversary of celebrating bullying.

The whole show, we watch adults give out candy to all the kids but Charlie Brown. He got rocks. He was singled out to give rocks to. Bullying. by adults.

but, I watched it.
I watched it too, I used to read all of the Charlie Brown comic books as well. Remember when snoopy would pretend to be the World War I flying ace?
Adult bullies actually exits, I've never been bullied as an adult, (except by men in the context of abuse) but in reality, I've watched it happen. Such things are usually more of a sad commentary on the emotional maturity of adults at large. Teenagers on the eff bee (students where I once taught) got into a grudge/bully match ending in a murder suicide. My first year teaching, I remember it a sophomore girl, who walked the South Berwick woods and shot herself with her father's shotgun. Evidently, she pulled the trigger with her toe. It was one of this events that rattled me. I don't even like to think about it.

Had to cover the debate. Mostly on Twitter. It's actually the best way to do it. I also have a chat room in real time with my fellow writers and editors. When someone in the debate says something we think will make a good article, we claim it and write it up real quick. It's a lot like writing the Halloween story in that it has a short turn-around and has to impart a lot of info in a brief piece. Brief because we always add the video.

Kids don't have school this week (Sukkot break), so I took today and tomorrow off.
Helped Michael (my 8y.o.) finish his book report.
Cooked lamb pilaf:

Will read with Josh (my 6 y.o.) after lunch and then play chess with Michael.
The weather is sh!tty here in Noo Yawk, so we have to stay indoors. Hoping to take kids somewhere tomorrow, weather permitting.
May or may not go to Boston over the weekend, haven't decided yet.

Do you cook with that iron skillet or does your wife bonk you on the head with it like the women folk here tend to do to some of the more angelic innocent men here?
