Dinner from Spoons. I'll usually get a Tuscan salad and one of their soups. They offer eight or ten soups, and they switch them every day. It's a pleasure to stand there and sample one or two. Grandma gets a sandwich and either a potato soup or clam chowder.
Breakfast at Doug's. I get a Wimpy Skinny. The Sinny is a scrambler, with an egg on top of veggies with green chili, all on top of a layer of hash browns. I get the egg sunnyside up. The "Wimpy" refers to the smaller version of this order. (I could have those two terms switched.)
Dinner from Cafe Athens. I'll get a souvlaki pizza on the way home.
Lunch at Lucky Joe's. Greek salad. I like it because they shovel on the artichoke hearts.
Lunch at the Steak Out. Half an "O'Sullivan," warm. The O'Sullivan is swiss and corned beef on rye. Yumsters.
Lunch at Rio Grande. This only occurs during workdays when I have absolutely no meetings, and only with a particular friend for lunch. Margaritas and something to eat. The "something" is variable and not terribly consequential.
