I've learned that whirled peas is not a Scottish food dish! ;-D

Seriously, I learn something here every day, may it be a little thing or a big thing. I've learned that I can be a part of something, just sitting here in my living room. I laugh, cry, and even on those down days when I just don't have much to say, I can just read through posts and feel better.

Best. Place. EVER.

Gosh, I don't know where to start! I've mostly learned that my old definition of "friend" was so much smaller before I came here! I think the written word brings out such a depth of information, emotion, and sharing from people, and that I can share with others as well. In so many ways, the members of this board share a part of my life that other friends never get to share, and I can't help but think it's true for all of us.

What blunthead has learned via being an SKMB member...

1. A little more about punctuation; where commas, semi-colons, and other pesky grammar items belong and don't.

2. How to post videos and images on a website.

3. How to be tolerated on a website.

4. That it's necessary for a message board to be moderated.

5. The meaning of "British".

6. How to explain my username.

7. How to spell "Shining".

8. How to post enough consecutive music videos to induce a site policy change.

9. That I'm sometimes too vague, obscure, and obtuse.
10. I've learned that I dig meeting people from all over the world, and that I appreciate things they know and believe as sometimes new info for me.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. Kudos for catching it, and for successfully following it up. Do you have an idea how the identity theft happened? The melancholic/sanguine of me might never have even noticed it, nor have responded well to it. So, you think you might be a phlegmatic/choleric?
You can't catch cholera on the internet.
