Someone refresh my memory,

the pic at the front of the web site for the new comic "drawing of three"

I can not place that scene in my mind.:hammer:
please help

Do you mean THIS picture? Your guess is as good as mine! I just finished the second book - The Drawing of the Three - pretty cool! and there is an afterword in it from December 1986. I found it quite interesting.

wait...its about Eddie...before he left for The Bahama's ??
meaning lots of stuff that ISNT IN THE BOOK !!!!
...IE new stuff??? about his sister and mother and even... GASP....his father
(we know NOTHING about Eddies father.)

wow. I will have to decide whether to "recognize" the comics as part of the King cannon./or not
my knee jerk response, has always been NO. --the comics are not "real King stuff"

I may have to change this 'tude, on my part

no-one ever talks about the lack on info on Eddies father...even Mr. Beverly never talksof it... the lack of info (or even ref" to Eddies dad)
is 'glaring' and 'stunning' and ...odd to me.

I can tell you his father's first name: Wendell. Eddie doesn't know anything other than that about his father. That's not a terribly unusual situation.

There is a fair amount about Eddie scattered throughout the books. Enough bones to build a story on.
I thought it was good that Eddie
got off the heroin
by going into the Gunslinger's world.

Mr. Bev is awesome, he's always here! like 24-7 !~

Another thing , Eddie had a sister who was killed by a drunk driver.
I have always believed this drunk was a guy named Jack Mort but it may have been...
Wendell. come for a visit, hits his own daughter, and speeds off.

just a theory
I take it this comic is not the same as the book "The Drawing of the Three" cuz in that book Jack Mort is a pretty despicable character but he does not run anyone over. Have you read book two of the DT series lately Tiny?
Jack Mort is an accountant but he has evil secret hobbies that the Gunslinger finds out about
when he enters his mind/body

yes...but .... I am saying...

Nothing is ever told to us about the drunk that killed Eddies sister, We are only told that her death
"sets up" the very strange family dynamic between Eddie his mother and his brother Henry.
this dynamic causes Eddie a lot of grief , later in life. (MORE SO then heroin !)

The lack of info about this drunk driver leads me to ...let my imagination RUN WILD.

Either jack Mort killed her , or the girls father, Wendell, did.(these are only theories)
or maybe im wrong all together !!!

We dont know just yet...someday maybe; King will tell us.

Kings silence on some plot-points... SPEAKS VOLUMES to me.
