The best Bachman book is yet to be written. 
...same experience here...only she never tried to call back...wonder what happened to drive her away?....I thought we were close....

The last I heard, she had been having computer troubles and then she mentioned that there were things she was trying to sort out in her personal life.
Even though it hurts a lot to lose contact with someone you care for... I think that unless you hear something definitive, ("I don't care for you any-more..." for example) you just have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Lots of things happen I guess and maybe things were just outside of her control?
...maybe so, we never had any troubles and she, Tracy and I really hit it off in Maine...hopefully I'll hear from her someday...and thanks Flake...
I know you did... it's sad to not know. I hope we will be able to re-connect one day too. Pats is such good value.

I like this pic. but I really like the one on the original copy. Where they are walking toward you and you see part of the Major standing there at the end. What do you guys think about the ending of The Long Walk without giving away too much.

...very early writing...the first novel he wrote, around the time he was a "freshy" at the University of Maine....
I noticed he doesn't talk much about this book at all. I've seen lots of interviews with King and he never mentions this book. Rage of course made news when it was taken out of print. (Hated that they did that)
It's not like that G. Just like me, all those peeps enjoyed getting on here and chatting it up. That change threw everyone for a loop and they saw FB as a good start up spot. Sonia was the one that got me to check out FB. I started a group over there with her and Deb Sambol and Holly as admins. It's an entertainment group and we talk about everything from movies to music. This was the first chat room/message board I was on, so it means something to me. Now that I'm getting used to it you'll be seeing more of me on here.
