I was asleep on the plane as it made its approach to Denver. In my dream, the plan went into a sudden deep dive to land, and I'm thinking, whoa, that's different. I looked out the window (I actually was in an aisle seat, so go figure), and I thought, "We're landing at Fort Collins/Loveland airport? What happened with DIA?" The plane leveled out to land, and I'm seeing trees and gas stations and buildings, and I'm going, "Wait, this is the frontage road of I-25." Then I woke up as the plane touched down on the runway at DIA.

This morning, I dreamed I ran across a good friend I've only personally met once, but we got along so famously that we've referred to each other as BFAM* ever since. He makes a good living in upstate New York, but this was in Southern California somewhere, and was living in a big spare room off of a motel. I wanted a glass of water, and he said he had ice for me. The ice maker was attached under the sink. He activated it, and it plopped out cubes of ice on the floor under the sink, close to a kitty litter tray. He put the ice cubes in a glass, and I'm thinking, "Yeah, I don't really want that."

We were chatting and moving around the place, and I came across this weird contraption. I pushed some buttons, and it turned out to be a special phone system to call his brother and sister with. The sister answered and started talking, and I pushed buttons, and then got the brother answering, and I apologized that I was with BFAM and had called him ... I hesitated, trying to find the word ... erroneously. BFAM walked up and said, "Don't worry, bro. It was a mistake, and I'm fine." I clicked it off, and then the sister came on. She was still talking, nonstop.

Then the alarm went off in real life, and I woke up. There was actually a lot more to the dream, with BFAM and I being out on the road standing around parked cars, and a girl who said she was a stripper and wanted to give me a lap dance, and I just walked her to the club, and then she looked like an entirely different person, and she had a really lousy attitude. But that stuff wasn't all that interesting.

My dreams. I bet you're sorry you asked, hey?

*BFAM is Brother From Another Mother, for those who are curious.
Not at all sorry I asked! Dreams to me are fascinating, no matter how odd or silly or terrifying. Recurring ones are always interesting as well..

I still remember a dream I had when I was very young. I was taking a bath and, when the plug was pulled, I went down the drain. There was a whole world down there, with different levels and the man who ran everything gave me cereal at his office desk.
I love the secret world ones...I had one as a kid that I found a door in our hallway that I'd just never noticed and opened it, and it was like a whole other house down there except it was completely underwater. You could walk, swim, (float...*insert Pennywise laugh*) and breathe and talk.
As a small child our elderly neighbor had a very old farm house. It had been remodeled and there was an old 'paints a'peeling' door leading to nowhere behind the water heater. That door freaked me out and I spent a lot of time wondering what lurked behind it. One night I had a dream I finally managed to get the door open and it was a single large room with a large "C" shaped couch. There was a bunch of old people sitting on the couch, eating popcorn and watching the CareBears movie xD

I can't help you. My dreams are lately too R-rated. If I'm lucky! Apparently, the older I get, the less horny I ain't. Here, try this one for size. This got posted on a board I frequent & we've been dissecting the crap out of it. Someone even starting a fan-fiction about it! There must be more here than meets the eye. Right? It seems simple on the surface, but lots of unanswered questions. Any insight would certainly be appreciated. Ah, just tell me what the hell it means! Oh, it isn't mentioned, but you may notice the pale lady is butt naked. Could this be one of my dreams?

.....the only thing I take away from that-is the old lady is a piss poor decorator.....

I was on a Bridge with Adolf H another Guy i didn`t knew and a "Girlfriend"
We had a Conversation (cant remember the Topic)
The Girlfriend had a Samurai Sword Sudenly my Girlfriend got an Order and she pulled her Sword and she removed my Arm with her Sword I was Shocked, looked at her and she whispered
"**** off...i have to kill you"
i jumped over the Handrail (it was a 2 minutes flight at least) and then i pretended my Death (i wasn`t injured)
i laid there and then my "Girlfriend" came, looked at my me and she screamed.."he is Dead"
"Sure ?!"
She fired 2 times right beside my head and said "yes"
then they left
i lay there for hours, pretending i was death.
then i stood up, ranned to a Cabin
the last thing i know....headlights...then i woke up

On the rarest of occasions (maybe once annually or so), my wife and I both have "cheat dreams" about each other......In our respective dreams, the cheating partner is always out of character with what we are in real life (in the dreams, we are often abrasive and *******-ish to each other)....We laugh about these when they happen but we can always tell when the other person has had one because - for about the next 24 hours or so - we will be wary and angry of the each other for that day :D

It's an interesting thing. You can't help what you dream, so I carry no judgmentalism about what Grandma might dream - but she doesn't dream as often, as vividly, or as memorably as I do, so there's not much to talk about. But really, I don't care. If we're doing the primal thing, and she's thinking about Harrison Ford in his younger days, that's fine with me as long as things get done the way they should.

For me, if a dream involves something of the sordid sort but not with Grandma - and I haven't had one of those for a long time, because I'm damn old - I never see the other person's face. I think it's a subconscious defense mechanism kicking in.

I once dreamed that I ran away with Eugene Levy (of SCTV and who played a role in the last Rush tour). I woke up very puzzled and told B and we laughed about it. It's still a joke 30 years later.

I usually don't remember mine.

The last couple I do remember were:

The first one involved my Dad. I dreamed he came to see me and he told me that he liked Brody Dog. He said "That dog has spunk! He'll watch out for your Mother." Then he said "I have to get back. I'm on the job". Then he left.
Weird as it's the first time I've dreamed about him since he passed away in 2012.

The other dream involved Heidi Klum, Asia Argento, and whipped cream. That's all I can share on that one....

I also had a nightmare once where my dog ran away and I was trying to find him. I went into an old warehouse to look for him and I saw that he had been killed by Freddy Krueger. Who then attacked me, chained me to a table, and proceeded to dismember me. I could feel my limbs coming off in the dream. I woke up right after my arms were cut off.

Well, last night I had a weird one where I was chasing a train, caught up with it, and grabbed onto the rear of it and was flinging along behind it like I was made out of fabric, LOL. Night before last I was in a small van with a lot of people and the person driving was just going in nutso circles and the woman in the front seat was yelling at me because she thought I'd lost her blue coat. WTF brain.
