I mean, like, when I was five. I remember it was replaced by frickin Solid Gold (with the Solid Gold Dancers, of coss). You cannot imagine the depth of my kindergarten rage.

Was Doctor Who big in America? I think Marvel made a comic book, so it must have been fairly popular. One of my favourite episodes in 'The Masque of Mandragora'. I like the Tom Baker doctor.

It's not my cup of tea,but I do have a doctor who cracker/cookie tin..love it..

Avid fan of the original Star Trek. Don't watch it much anymore. The first million times were enough.

Became a more avid fan of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Can still watch a number of those episodes. Nominal fan of DS9 and Voyager.

Was a big fan of Stargate SF-1 through about the first five seasons.

And Firefly was a brilliant child who died way too young.

Didn't much like Lost in Space (too childish) or 1999 (too impossible) or Dr. Who back in the '60s and '70s (too cheesy). Yeah, I was the annoying geeky kid who was too persnickety about his science fiction. Well... still am, I guess.

I liked when Picard used to say 'make it so', and the Earl Grey, of course. How was Space 1999 impossible. With a big enough explosion, I'd think the Moon could be knocked out of Earth's orbit.

Did you get really sad at the end of the 70's Incredible Hulk when Banner( Bill Bixby) was walking along the side of a road, only with a duffel bag, and the music going.

Well I live in Britain and so I really can't say. I mean, I'd imagine it had some sort of small cult following over there. Though I do understand that it's quite a bit more popular in the states now. Perhaps due to all the exposure Craig Ferguson used to give it on the Late Late Show?

Doctor Who was a favorite in college dorms during the 70's PBS stations in the States aired Doctor Who, Blakes 7, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, and Red Dwarf. The Brits make great sci-fi series
