What little thing would you make illegal just because it pisses you off?

I agree. There are some people who can't say they're sorry. They just can't do it, even when they KNOW they have wronged a person or a group of people. And that includes people who claim to be "professionals" that you would think would have proper manners.
This is why I left my job. If you're a manager and you've said/done something wrong to one of your employees, then you should have the decency to say a simple 'I'm sorry.'. If not, then step down from the position.

Yes, I don't know why "I'm sorry" has become some sign of being a weakling or a pansy. IMO it takes a big person to be able to look someone they've wronged in the eye and say "I screwed up and I'm sorry." Plus, it's really not hard to do. They feel better about the situation, I feel relief, and my Higher Power is beaming. What the hell could possibly be wrong with that? If they refuse to accept the apology, it's an issue with them, not you, and you (the apologizer) can sleep well knowing you've done all you can. (In many cases, people who refuse to accept an apology do so, just at a later date. Maybe they have a hard time accepting apologies--some do--or maybe they just needed to cool off.)

To be clear- I was not the manager, I was the employee that the manager should have apologized to but didn't. I don't need to work at a job where I am not respected. I made the decision to leave as I hadn't been happy there for a few years anyway.

People who are unnecessarily rude, crude, and cruel, and then accuse you of not being nice and correct your manners. If they can't be nice themselves they have no business giving advice or instruction and correcting one's manners is in itself rude. Ought to be illegal.

Drunken idiot stoners who change lanes, cutting you off with no signal, and ignore you when you honk the horn at them or worse--act like you're to blame for their lack of drivers ed.

Also, people who refuse to hold doors for people who are holding armloads of stuff. Common courtesy, folks. Your mother must be so proud.

I just learned something new - did not even know what a juggalo was until now!

My first girlfriend dated a juggalo before she dated me and I always kind of resented her for it, even though it was a long distance relationship. I was actually her first kiss. The fact that she dated a juggalo (and a jock after me) always kind of floored me because she was this really smart goth type girl, very sarcastic and very creative.

Being out on hold for sooooo long you wonder if there will ever be a person speaking to you.

I hate talking on the phone but I hate calling anything that's automated immediately. It's irritating, especially when your selection isn't until "press 9,287".
I heard a funny bit about this kinda thing, the guy was wondering how long it would be before 911 was automated. "If you are witnessing a crime against another person, press one! If you are witnessing a crime against yourself, press two! You have pressed two, you're witnessing a crime against yourself. If you are being shot, press one. If you are being stabbed, press two. If you are being tarred and feathered by an angry mob, press 3. You have pressed two, you are being stabbed. Please hold while we direct your call!"

automated menus are the bane of my existence. especially because i hardly ever call unless i actually need to speak to a person, and have to sit through tons of stupid menu options.

I just did this at a McDonald's last week. I liked it. Probably wouldn't like it if there was a line of people behind me waiting for me to make up my freakin' mind though......
