What little thing would you make illegal just because it pisses you off?

Well my hair is curly like Weird Al's. Here is an old pic I posted before of it down:

There isn't a requirement for long hair. most in my tribe cu it short now. But some of us hold out!
I didn't know you were native American! I have seen quite a few natives with their short hair, but I think the majority wear it long.
You know the story of what happened in the Vietnam war with the natives, and their hair. I found that story quite interesting.

So let's say a big Native American guy who keeps his hair long that has to put his hair up because it's hot, does that one fall in this definition you jokers? :)

I say we outlaw dogs. And Rush. :p

I actually don't ever wear a "bun" out. I am also not a hipster.

Wearing long hair up for practical reasons does not qualify as a dou*he-knot. Doing it as a fashion choice does. Especially when coupled with hipster tendencies.

Dogs are already outlawed in lots of places!

It's OK. This dog used to have a mullet. Mullets probably should be outlawed, too.

Nice SG, BTW!
Why thankya! It's a 2001 SG Ebony Special. I was going to buy an SG standard, but they are very had to find without the Bigbsy and I do not like whammy bars. I think they cause damage to the neck over years. But the SG Special has the same body profile as the Standard, including the slimmer neck profile and pitch, plus the P90 emulating 490T/R pickups like the newer Standards, only without the metal caps. Which look nice but with any high treble setup, like slide, I think they sound tinnier than my uncovered ones. I will say that clean tone, the covered ones have a bit warmer sounds, which seems counter-intuitive. I rock that bad boy on a Fender Blues Jr that I had the caps modded in to fit the old school cream board Fenders. Those aren't big amps and only 15 watts, but man they break up nice and have a hell of a bite! The reverb on them may be the best I've ever heard. And being a small single speaker cab, it has a natural compression that gives you some sweet chop when soloing.

Oh, pooh hossenpepper You ain't no hipster. Like swiftdog said, putting hair up for practical reasons doesn't count.

And you will NEVER outlaw Rush! :p
In my particular thread universe from the infinite braid, Rush is outlawed. They were forced to rescind all albums post 1980 or so. They now live on the planet Megadeth because it amuses me to see them have to live in the Megadeth world.

Yes, I can barely walk in the woods without feeling like I'm having ultrasound therapy on my head. :p

Nice!

I'm mostly a strat guy. I have a modded 1989 Standard strat that was built in Japan. Only original thing on that now is the body. I also have a 1994 American Standard Strat that I swapped the pickups in. Have several Charvels as well. Which are basically Les Paul sounding strats.

My acoustic is a Gibson though.

Playing through an Orange OR15 mostly. I also have an Orange micro-dark that is way louder than you'd expect!

I for some reason have never been a big fan of Strats for ME. By that I mean I feel like it plays me not the other way around. I am also not a fan of the D shaped necks. I don't like Les Pauls because of that actually. I am not talking tone on either, just the way my weird shaped hands feel wrapped around one. I love Oranges!! Awesome sounding amps!! And yeah they push some air! I also have a Roland MicroCube. I actually took it up to Maine with me for the Kon. Ask Ms Mod, the thing gets LOUD! And it's 2 watts running off 6 AA batteries! For $79 it is the most value purchase I've ever made. I did get a good deal on that SG. I bought it in a store in downtown Tucson called "The Old Chicago Store". I think I paid $600 for it.

I also have a '77 Ibanez Musician that came from their custom shop. I bought it off a retired specialty shop owner that catered to signed acts. After a lot of research and talking to Ibanez in Japan, I found enough evidence to suggest it once belonged to Steve Miller. It's a solid neck through body and is like playing an oak tree. I still have neck issues I think as it was my main axe back in my hardcore gigging days. Probably played 1000 shows with that chunk of lumber. Good times!

I hear you. You gotta play what feels good to you.

I learned to play on that Japanese Strat so Strats have always felt "right" to me. The Charvels have compound radius necks so they are very fast playing.

Les Pauls just feel too heavy to me. I had a Les Paul Studio and an Epihone Les Paul with P90s for a while but sold both.

Charvel actually made Les Paul style guitars a few years back. The bodies are slightly smaller and are slightly contoured in the back so they are lighter than the Gibsons. I got two of those now. One I got new on eBay for $300. I put in humbucker sized P90. Sounds good but I'm not really in love with it. May trade it for something else.
