For whatever reason my work computer will not play youtube vids. The ad's work fine of course. But I do know that scene very well, it's one of the classics of film history. Without their makeup wigs and hats, all of the brothers looked remarkably alike. In that film Duck Soup, three of them are wearing the same night-shirt, glasses and grease paint as they race in and out of Margaret Dumont's bedroom.

Kids...was going someplace the other day, got behind a bus, bus stops there at the bottom of Hungarian? Small kid hops off and takes off sprinting! Funniest thing I've ever seen. Cue Alabama: I'm in a hurry to get things done! And then some of the little munchkins walking past the house in the morning, on the way to school, backpacks, an assortment of clothing, serious looks. Youse guys going to school I ask. Nods all around a few smiles. Youse guys are so lucky! Nods again. Science is the best, hey? More nods. I turn and they pass...I step into the garage, grab something else to stick in the truck and on the way out I look at the little tykes...one of them is swirling an index finger next to his ear and thumbing backward. One in every crowd.

The news feed reminds me of that old song...was it by Dr. Hook...Rolling Stone! something about getting a picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone! which reminds me of The Flintstones. They're a modern stone age family. lalalala! Fred and Barney make me laugh. Fred is always so obnoxious and arrogant. Barney...heh! That voice of his...reminds me of the Beaver. Gee Wally...Gee Fred...the Iowa Hawkeyes had a coach who looked like Barney Rubble...don't recall his name...late 80s early 90s...basketball. Dino...remember him...arf! arf! arf! arf! arf! arf! arf! arf! Real spastic. Anyone else have a crush on Betty? Wilma was wound too tight, I think. Probably the reason Fred is the way he is.

Monty Python, South Park, Arsenic & Old Lace, The Inbetweeners, Bad Santa, Jackass, and Steven Wright. Also can't forget those movies with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.

Those are some things off the top of my head.
I adore Steven Wright, and some of the old screwball comedies are wonderful for those who have a taste for them. Pryor in Stir Crazy is one of my favorite move performances. Monty Python, South Park = yea, yea.
