Hello! So, there's a pretty big, diverse group of folks here, right? I'm hoping we can help each other out. Or that you can help me out, if I'm the only one that has this problem.
See, as a child, my parents were very in to these weird, obscure movies. I enjoyed many of them, but I can't remember the titles of any of them, or even who acted in them. All I can remember is the plot, or sometimes just a particular scene. My hope is that we can put a name to these films.
Anyone game?

The first movie I'll throw out there is one about a soldier who got stranded in a desert. He somehow managed to find a cave, with a leopard living in it. He falls in love with the leopard over time, and I think he loses his mind in the process. There is very little dialogue.

Ok! Round two!

This is a tough one. The "main subject", so to speak, was these little scorpion-like creatures from another planet. (Mars?)
A scientist of sorts had a colony of them in his basement where he was studying them, and as this film was a bit of a creature feature of course the creatures would escape their tank to go kill something in a typical, B-movie way.
The creatures, besides being intelligent and diabolical, were also builders. They chose some being or object to "worship" and built an effigy of it.

So! Any ideas what this crazy film might have been called?

Was it a TV movie?
