I wasn't a huge fan of the DT series when I started it years ago, but in the interest of having more SK stories to geek over, I plan to give it another go this fall.

Welcome Kaity! I'm going to vote for 'Salems Lot. But then again, I love Vampires books and movies.
I started reading Salem's Lot ony my bus to work, I'm on page 32 so far: love it! Thanks for the advice everyone

I'm kinda biased cause Dead Zone and Salem's Lot were the first 2 SK books I read, but the latter is my favourite. If you ever want to get around to trying out his short stories, try Night Shift & Skeleton Crew.
