I don't have the 'premium' channels on my cable. Here's mine:
Big Bang Theory
Two Broke Girls
The Walking Dead (just finished watching Season 3 on dvd)

All Time Favorite would have to be Twin Peaks!!!!
All time favorites are a different list...
Definitely in the top five.

Top five favorite shows of all time...

Addams family -childhood
MASH - childhood and college years
Ally McBeal -Adult
Twin Peaks - Adult
X-Files - Adult

None of y'all listed American Horror story as a favorite but I'm wondering if anyone thinks its worth watching. FX is repeating season three beginning on Sep 11th and I've never watched it.
I liked the first season quite a bit, but gave up after 3 epis of the second season--too 'torture porn' for me. It made me feel sick. DD#1 says it got better and season 3 was very good, but I dunno…I really hated the part of season 2 that I did see.

Thanks :) I'll give the first couple shows a watch but it doesn't sound like I'll like it either. I don't like sadistic crap.

1. Game of Thrones
2. The Walking Dead
3. Auburn football

Fringe is over, Dexter is over, Breaking Bad is over. They would've been my top three a couple of years ago. I'm a writer who doesn't write enough as it is, so I sure don't need to find any more TV shows that are must-see.

I absolutely agree with you. I watched Season 1 and it was kind of intriguing. The first couple of episodes in Season 2 did me in. Torture porn is exactly the word for it (in my opinion). Then I tried to watch Season 3, nope - the first scene was horrid - more torture porn than Season 2, I thought. I just can't watch that stuff.

The only 3 I'm watching right now:
1. Project Runway
2. Ray Donovan
3. Chopped

At the moment, Ken Burns' The Roosevelts: An Intimate History has to rank right up there. It's quite fascinating and extremely well done.

Although as mentioned elsewhere, Big Bang Theory has weary legs, I'm looking forward to another run, starting next week.

Garfunkel and Oates is a hoot.
