What's with the winter caps?

A big tall guy from next door is wearing a winter cap with floppy ears. I saw one teenage guy yesterday wearing a winter cap with a lil stuffed toy bear on top. If a guy walked down the street like that when I was a teen, he would probably get the sh*t kicked out of him. What is with them?

I saw a guy just a few minutes ago that looked like this: Mid 20s (so not a kid), full beard, flap cap, flannel shirt with the sleeves cut to be short sleeves, chino shorts, and docksiders. It was like a lumberjack, a preppie, and a hipster stepped into Cronenberg's travel machine and melted together. TOO MUCH TRENDY IN ONE PACKAGE--lol

I have nothing against being warm It was just the whole ensemble, worn together and in a store when it's nearly 70 degrees, that made me giggle

Oh gosh, lol.

There were instances where I saw students on campus where them inside and during the whole duration of class. And it's normal room temperature! To each it's own, I guess!
