So excited, my son is starting the first Harry Potter book. He's such a good reader. Hopefully I can give him all my King books when he is older. I remember before I had a job as a teen, my mom would have stacks of books behind her waterbed frame. I devoured almost all of them, I think (of course most were trashy romance novels, but I was a poor kid who didn't have a public library nearby and only could take so many books out from the school library).

I have 2 young girls under the age of 2 and I love to read them whatever I am reading. Most recently I have picked up the entire works of the late great Edgar Allen Poe and have been using his work as bedtime stories. Now before you say how could you read them that think about it they are both under 2 and won't remember a thing nor comprehend it just yet. I am however very excited to introduce them to the world of Stephen King when they are ready.

Well...we seem to be behind the curve...lol my girls and I, 1, 3 and 5, love the llama llama books by Anna Dewdney and the Skippyjon Jones books. They're fun to read and I love the art!
