I don't have too many mispronunciations, but I've had my name spelled just short of 300 different ways.

Same here, both first ("just how you say it") and last. Especially annoying when I need to give someone my e-mail address at work, which consists of my full name. There was a time when I had an alias with just my first name (as I'm the only one with that name at the company I work for). However someone at the IT-department thought it was a good idea to get rid of all aliases. He started on top of the list and never got far (maybe till C), but as my name starts with an A, I lost my aliases without even being informed about it :mad2:

I get the opposite problem. Too many people spell their name the same way as mine. There's a Jeanne Larson that produces watercolor art (not me, folks), one that makes baby dolls (again, not me), a doctor (nope), one in insurance, a Supervisor in Minnesota, one in telecommunications, a pro in pet care, a meeting planner, one in sales, and there's even one that publishes books. All with the EXACT same spelling as my name.
For this reason, I published using the initials JT. J for... well, the obvious. But T is not my middle initial. Bonus points for anybody that can tell me what it's for.

It's nice to see your smiling face again. :) Are you back to school yet? In Canada the first day is 8th September. Although I remember my kids
were ready to go back mid July or maybe it was me wanting them back in mid July ...
Yes, the students started back August 13, so we're into our second week.
Tomorrow I'm doing a "Gobstopper" lab, so looking forward to the kids being excited.
