I'm into the whole "rise" metaphor this evening for some reason.
So this is from Bad Brains major label debut in 1993. I saw them on tour with Living Colour just before his album came out. My mind was sufficiently blown!
There is a link between this song and the Back Flag song I posted right before. Henry Rollins (singer for Black Flag) was a huge Bad Brains fan and one of his first performances was when H.R. (Bad Brains singer) pulled Henry on stage to sing at a Bad Brains show in D.C.
First time I've seen this live version. Color me impressed! Sam's vocals are just insane. And he ain't bad on guitar either \w/
