Don't know about theme song, but I have had this stuck in my head for a few days - The Choice by Gustavo Santaolalla (from The Last Of Us video game), one of the more pleasent songs to have gotten stuck in my head.
Don't watch this too early in the day, might make you sleepy. This tune has been playing over and over in my head, the last week or so.

When I was a little girl, we lived in a huge house. My brother would scare me by playing the wolf howls at the beginning of this record over and over and over again. They would come soft into my room through the vents -- it was terrifying.
I don't mean to like your terror, but I have empathy with your story. I had a brother who would take days planning new ways to make my life a terror filled adventure. I gave as good as I got though, I dare say.
To this day he cannot eat mayo... tee hee hee.
