Grandma was unhappy with work politics. She felt she was getting outcast because she was standing up for herself and the benefit of the clients. Yesterday, people came up to her and approached her, "Hey, do you want to do this? And this?" You know, social stuff. She's got a weekend of girlfriend stuff to do now. Happiness.

And the granddaughter is handling school amazingly well. If people don't want to enjoy her style of loving and gentle charm (my term, not hers) with her friends, she figures it's their loss.

Awesome and awesome! there are moments when all is well with the people we love - everyone at ease and peace at the same time - and you can just go "whew", and relax for a while. The promise of that is all the keeps me going sometimes. I worry about everyone. I, myself, am always OK.

Here's my theme song today, because this DMB song ALWAYS makes me happy - I saw them in 1995 when we were all oh so much younger. I was right up front pressed against the gate - mere feet from his feet.

For a few of my darling clients, and sometimes, like this morning, for that darling Microsoft. And so far, I've been able to avoid Faulkner's advice in a literal sense.

Okay, it's not for everyone, but at the 4:00 mark, about, the demonstration starts why, in my view, when it comes to musicality and spectacle, the Floyd is in a class by itself.

Great hook of an intro...

Back when this was originally released, this great song was omitted from the US version. It used to drive me nuts in the 70s when the US record companies would rearrange the order of the songs and omit some of the songs from the UK versions. I read that the US record company thought this song was "too English." What the hell does that mean? ;-D How could they leave this off of This Years Model?
