Really cringed.... Propably when i had that cola can s couple of weeks since and took a hearty swallow, i was thirsty, and found that a couple of flies had just found that interesting so had flown down into the can and i ended up swallowing them. Did not taste good. Since then i dont do cans, i buy bottles that have a cap that you copuld screw back on so it wont happen again.

Taking a huge drink of milk and belatedly realizing the milk has spoiled. If there is any other thing that tastes quite like spoiled milk, I've never encountered it. I think the smell hits your senses a split second before the taste does which makes it that much worse....cringe......

Here I am in the seventh decade of life, and stupid, socially-awkward things from my childhood and teenage years still make me cringe.

But the last time? Sometimes here in autumn, we get a lot of elderbugs flying around. They sorta look like fireflies. They don't bite, they don't sting, they don't try to eat your food - they're just omnipresent and annoying. About a week ago, I reached for the coffeecup at the office, took in a swallow, thought, "Hm, too many grounds in this one. Don't wanna chew the coffee," spit it back into the cup, and it was a big ol' elderbug who had mistakenly, and fatally, used my coffeecup for a swimming pool. Did.Not.Like. If I didn't outwardly cringe, the cringe was strong with this one.

This just did it to me lol.:concern:

After I went to the bathroom the other day, I checked my hand and it had a smudge of poop on it.

Friday at work when I saw that our receptionist had made a "Child Haircut" appointment for me, and I didn't know the child.
I don't really have "child pricing", and it's usually difficult to explain that to a parent who is expecting really cheap pricing for something that takes the same time and skill that any other haircut takes.

Yikes, some big cringes right here in this thread!

I cringed last night, when I pulled the covers back on my bed, got in, and then saw a cricket was in there with me. I froze (after I cringed) and hollered for Evan, because I thought the cricket in my bed was one he found yesterday and put in with Ty's turtle. But it wasn't the same one, so apparently I have a family of crickets living here, too. Never hear them, so don't know where they're hiding. Just better not be in my bed. :glare:

Did Yertle at least enjoy him? Or was it right it the ole chute for poor Jiminy with hardly a taste?
I think he would rather have his turtle food pellets. Scarfs those right up. The crickets, not so much. I think they drowned. Maybe, I don't know. ;-D That was how I knew it wasn't the same cricket though, the first one was still in the tank. :biggrin2:
