Where do You read

A lot of people tell me I am weird because I read when I walk to and from work.
It is a good 45 minute walk to get to work and then another 45 minutes from work to home.

I see it as a good investment of the time, one and a half hours that would otherwise be lost!!
Lamp posts and dog poo are my nemeses though! and one time I was nearly run down by a car as I had got so engrossed in my book that I walked into the road without looking

I do read in more conventional places too btw, like in bed, the bath or in the garden (British weather permitting!).

Was wondering if there were other wacky people out there like me. I read lots of places. In bed, on the couch, outside from time to time, ( love the backyard laying on a blanket on the grass.)but I made myself a reading room in my basement. Its a small room probably 10 by 10. Nothing real special. I just put a nice lazy boy in there. Good lighting. Put some posters and paintings up I liked. ( gotta have at least one lik photograph up) right next to the from a buick 8 poster I surprisingly got that came with the book. A shelf for displaying some cemetery dance books and then shelves for my books. A little library of books I've read. It's away from the TV and seems like I get more out my reading in there compared to other places. Was wondering if any of Yunz have a favorite or special place u do ur reading. Love to here about it!

When I'm at home I always read sitting at the dining room table. When I am away it's usually in the airport or railway
station.
