Galli/Gallina/Volic is here. She's a workaholic, so time is often limited in addition to different time zone.
Dani...is/was a lady (can I use the word "lady"?) from Western Canada...one of those cities near the U.S. border and she had horses. She participated in one or more social group reads of stories...Duma Key...The Stand...The Shining I think...and that's what I wondered, if Gallina=Volic, and Spidey cleared that up for me. Thank you. From Russia, as I recall...I remember some pics of rivers her husband fished...or maybe they live nearby. And how about AmandaRose? Remember that signature pic of her? Was that her? Lingerie? Milk? A knife? How about Springo? Where you at Courtney? Plus, there was that lady...there's that word again...I hope that's okay...take me out back and whip me if it ain't...ummmm...yeah, that lady from Spain...and I think there was a thread about American phrases/words, that either she started or someone else started to help her understand Americanisms. There were some Latin/South American members, too...that I forget the names of.
I think you might be talking about Rita? ("Ri The Lousy Translator") Haven't seen her around for quite a while now.
Last I heard from her --over two years ago she was going through a divorce and it was real ugly. I often think of her.
No...the lady from Spain...I thought her name...and her SKMB name is/was Galina...one "el"...that's why I was confused when I saw "Volic's" mouse-jumping-on-a-cat's belly...Volic going by Gallina now...I guess.
I think you are thinking of Gelata (Angeles). I have heard from her and she is doing well. A translator for books. Just had her first translated one published.

I miss Dana, Cola, Jo, and Dancing T. Beat comes occasionally. Tery and Anni M. don't come as often as I wish. Miss them all.
