Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts - I was just speaking to him on the phone. They finally have allowed him some Jello and black coffee (clear fluids for now).
So now I am off to buy him some of those little Jello cups at the grocery store, before I go in to sit with him and "hang out". Brought in a laptop for him to use when he is feeling up to it.

Hey guys, I've been trying to post the last couple of days but I know I've been largely absent lately. I haven't become bored or burned out, life has just gotten in the way.
I'll (hopefully) be active this week but am starting immunotherapy Friday so posting will be pretty spotty around that time.
