Since Siggy posted a link to this thread to help anyone who is wondering what to get their giftee for Christmas maybe I should post something.

I see in the past that all I did was respond to others' posts (in this thread)

:m_cruise:I drive a Jeep but it's not a real Jeep - just a Liberty, so would like something Jeep-ish or along those lines.
I sit all day at a desk and worry about getting deep vein thrombosis, so maybe some kind of exercise equipment?
I love to get a professional massage at a spa - so relaxing!
And also along those lines I really enjoy Hot Tubs especially the outdoor kind near a cabin and a lake.
Molly Maid services to help with the cleaning, so I can spend lots of time on the SKMB!
I am ex military and would like to be able to own a personal weapon - I live in Canada and they are severely restricted here.
A trip back to the Isle of Arran in Scotland where Andy and I got married in the little village of Lamlash at the Lamlash Parish Church.
Help with finding a good eating plan to help me lose a few pounds to prevent high blood pressure and other things that seem to come with age.
Mexican food - I love Mexican food.

Let's see - that is nine hmmmm (don't want to be TOO greedy!)

Oh yeah - some jewellery made out of my birthstone - I was born in April (maybe you can figure out which birthstone that is?)

Here is a hint:

Hi, Neesy. I was also born in April. A very good month to be born in.
Just wanted to mention that you should be sure you have a good solid trailer hitch on the Jeep, for rear-end protection. That is the recommended fix for the gas tank problems they are having.
I didn't realize personal weapons were that restricted in Canada (one of my favorite places). I am looking at a .30 caliber for a personal carry pistol, and I think all women should carry some kind of real protection and know how to use it.
My dad's family were from Scotland (mom's was from Italy, and there is some Native American in the mix, too), and I hope to visit there someday.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hey - thank you for that advice (about the Liberty) - the dealership sent a letter saying because of the recall they would install a trailer hitch for free but I have yet to take them up on it - maybe I should get on this! (like soon as my hubby comes home from up North in one week).

Merry Christmas to you too 50's kid!

Yes, please do that, ASAP. Do not put it off, even one more day.
Nice picture. From Thanksgiving to New Years has always been my favorite time of year. It is snowing outside right now, and everything is good with the world.

Who i am? Difficult. I live alone in an apartment thats really a mess, somehow lost my motivation when my wife died, and so should someone, something to get it in order. I love History and Archaeology and read a lot of books about these. What would be really interesting woud be a book on theorigin and evolution of the different northamerican Native American Tribes. I also love to travel, preferably to places that reasonably warm, they doesn't have to be steaming, and also to see historical monuments or places.
I read alot so a good assortment of Horror/SF/Mystery/historical novel are always welcome.
And to keep myself in shape i play floorball but i need to be in better condition to catch up with our new recruits. They run much faster than i!! (Of course they are 10-15 years younger). Then as it is holiday i love good stuff to eat. Anything from the candies to the special dishes. I am an uncomplicated guy: Something to eat, something to drink(not necessary alcohol, could just as well be soda), somethink to read and a comfortable place in the sun and i'll be one happy man.

Have you read Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh? The characters talking in broad Scottish and Scottish slang is brilliant.Takes a while to grasp what they're actually saying.
