My friends in high school were heavy into pot, but I personally couldn't get past the smell. I found it sickly sweet, and it made me gag just to be around it. I was never a drinker either, only having maybe 1 glass of white wine a year at Christmas. I have no problem with people who do like it. I just can't stand to be around it.

You can always tell an addict. Just kidding.

I grew up in El Paso in the 70's --mj was practically in the water. My brother was a local supplier and actually unbeknownst to my mother was also growing it in the house plants. I tried it a few times but I was a very serious reflective girl who loved to read and reflect on the big questions--I smoked a couple of times but quit because I couldn't figure out what everyone thought was so funny.

...I have smoked it infrequently in the past, and am not opposed to a toke now and again...but it is rare when I do...my vice is Marlboro...

Andy smokes cigarettes so we might pick some up while down there - I have never seen this type before (just regular Marlboros)

Was never exposed to it, so glad. I'll stick with my glass of chardonnay at 2300 and be happy as a clam. Want to keep holt of the few brain cells I have left.

Although the more I read on the benefits of weed for those who are ill, the more I am in favor of medicinal use. Mz. Lepplady speaks of an oil extracted from the plant that is very beneficial.
That is funny - I recall the time you said you had a glass of Chardonnay at 11 and they thought you were drinking at 11 a.m. :haha: :lol2:

i tried a drag once, completely lost interest. i am not against it, just doesn't interest me. i have seen people close to me 'high'. i have an acquaintenace who spends 100 euro per week on hash. is that what pot is? i am so naive i don't know the difference, but my point is he is parnoid and delusion and he suffers from depression and he does't like women or people. so no, you are not naive. now i am not perfect, i smoke(which is probably just as bad) and i have the odd Budwieser or Southern comfort(straight, no ic
