I keep loving these memes I wish I could turn them into business cards and hand them to people when appropriate. Thanks Danie.

I'd like to hear from some folks that have not read them.
Joining this board way back when, I knew I had to.

And you will not understand our Calla-Speak or strange references.

I am just mad at myself that it took me so long, And mal - I feel guilty because I got to read them back to back - not waiting years like many members had to.

Read them three times (I feel a bit guilty about that) and listened to the audio version. The next time I enter that world I think I'll read them to the audio version, kinda like reading lyrics to a song you like, or want to learn. I will read them in a slightly higher pitch so I can get some harmony.
No guilt , Mal. There is never enough of the DT journey. Savor it.

Same here. I didn't read them until they were all published.

I started in 1990. I had just finished Misery and Pet Sematary and needed another fix. I picked up The Wastelands at a used book store and after I completed it I went back to read series in order. I didn't pick up another DT book until about 5 years ago. I finished the last book around Christmas. I just realized I need to read Wind Through the Keyhole. I liked them but enjoy the stand-alone novels better (even though I understand all his books interconnect to the tower in one way or another).

They don't all tie in. Some play a large part, some are very tangental associations, but many don't connect at all. If you need a copy of The Wind Through the Keyhole, I have an extra you're welcome to have :)

Yes, that's true, but I suppose I was referring to Gan, Sai King, as the author of all...
Wow, that's a very kind offer, but I couldn't accept. I will end up reading it from the library, I guess, and I need to read Finders Keepers while I'm at it. Did you enjoy Wind Through the Keyhole?
