Well, I still get unusually excited when I watch Mary Poppins. I feel warm down "there".

She was the ideal girl next door, only the adult version which for me added sensuality, which at my age was kind of new.
I saw Deep Purple in concert. It was actually just like that, but with just a little louder drums.

It was a mostly-retro triple concert with Dream Theater and Emerson Lake & Palmer. It was a good evening.

Irony is difficult in text sometimes. I meant that with the same sincerity as saying that they sounded like Pat Boone.
Text plain doesn't cut it. Way too much is lost sometimes, even in the most carefully worded texts and emails, and the failure in communication can sometimes cause big problems. Emoticons can really help, as long as the subject matter isn't so deep that cuteness doesn't make the miscommunication worse. Mainly, I've come to accept that when they can't be in the same room people should use a phone to talk about important things.
...as long as the fantasy doesn't involve a penguin or a chimney sweep's broom....
