Nine blocks to the grade school, built in 1903, which I remembered as the first year of flight. In winter times, the whole front hall was busy with coats, mittens, and rubber boots. During morning recess, the appointed kid, almost always a boy, walking around with a big tray of small milk cartons. You wanted to be early enough on his tour to get a chocolate milk instead of a plain one.

I had just arrived when it went off the air. I do remember they brought it back in syndication about a decade later and my younger brother and sister getting one of those kits you needed in order to interact.
