You're probably somebody who is always reading and chooses books from a wide variety of authors. You not only know how they write, but have an idea about their philosophies on life. Mark Twain and Stephen King may have different contemporary reputations, but they're more alike than most people realize.

Yes, I am just that goofy--lol. And, for the record, I think Mr. King has more in common with Steinbeck than Twain. :)

I got six correct. For me, unless I knew the quote, it's apparent I had no idea who said what (i.e., I would not be able to figure out via logic the source of the statement).

(Quick question to GNT: Been meaning to ask: in your latest photo, what are you doing there? It almost appears as if you are holding onto a helicopter that is about to take off.)

I had to guess on many of them. Some sK's I recognized immediately, and I'm not familiar with Twain. I would've had 8/12 if I'd gone with my gut on one of them.

...the pic was taken at the radio headquarters where I work, the day the original broadcast tower was taken down...I put a lot of words through it over the years, and it was a melancholy day...I have a hold on the very top of it after it was lowered to the ground and I'm holding an original marker light as a keepsake....

Thanks for revealing what the image is. That's a great story, and I can understand how there would be a lot of nostalgia tied up in that tower.
