hey everyone! My name is wesley. guess i will introduce myself here and let yall know who i am and what i am about!
i'm new here but i've been reading S.K. since 1995. i'll be 30 in a month. i'm engaged to a great girl named Ashlee. i'm a hairstylist and i own my own salon. ashlee works in fashion. i love reading (obviously), playing music (rhodes piano and drums), listening to tons of music, from The Smashing Pumpkins, to Benny Goodman, to Mahler, to Queens of the Stoneage, if you catch my drift. i love cooking! shoot me some recipes. anything from italian to "american" to mexican, i'm pretty much an ACE. ask my fiancé! haha i enjoy exploring my mind and the universe, educating myself, and constantly learning. i live in Oklahoma City.
my favorite King book is probably Doctor Sleep (as odd as that may sound; i had never cried that much from a book before. amazing work. when D.S. was released, i had just started treatment for a heroin problem i was facing and i have now been clean for over a year. it hit close to home, for sure!
i also enjoy "Salem's Lot" along with "Jerusalem's Lot" and "One For The Road" as probably my second favorites. you really can't go wrong. i also like to read Lovecraft, Poe, Rand, Vonnegut, D.H. Lawrence, the list goes on and on. But Stephen King will always be my favorite author. i feel i have a lot in common with him and he writes books in ways that grip me deeper; i really feel what he is saying at all times.
anyway, glad to be here! bookmarked this page! don't be strangers!
